Alaska!

We are back and finally back to our routine...sorry for the delay on the pictures its been a little nuts!

Below are a some pictures from our Alaskan Cruise! I hope you enjoy them...

Bus ride to the boat from Anchorage

In our cabin...Ellie checking out the place and making herself comfortable.

First day at sea having fun with Grandma Murphy

Hamming it up with Uncle Frank

Just being silly with Aunt Colleen...Ellie is her mini me

Sitka Alaska...a beautiful little town that we really enjoyed

That is a Bald Eagle on top of that boat!

View of the harbor and our ship

Dinner that night back on the boat. Kate, Ellie, and I doing a little dancing with our waiter. Ellie was absolutely loving it...she was moving so much and laughing that the pictures really didn't come out sorry!

The Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau Alaska

Downtown Juneau

Skagway Alaska...we took more video than pictures

This is a picture from our train ride from the top of the mountains just over the Alaska/Canada border

After the train ride went to a little town the was the begining of the trail for the gold rush. We ate at a Salmon bake (which was incredible) and saw an entertaining show about the gold rush and actually panned for our own gold.

Back at the boat Ellie is just relaxing after a bath.

The next day we went to Ketchikan and had the best weather of the trip! What a beautiful city...

These are pictures as we pulled into dock

We litterly saw dozens of water planes taking off and landing all day next to our boat...

We have arrived in Ketchikan!

We went to the native Indian reservation and enjoyed a very fun history lesson on them and totem poles.

We finished our day at the 'The Great Alaskan Lumber Show'
These are the same guys you see on ESPN outdoor games competiting...very fun and entertaining.

One of the guys clowning around... there was alot of that.

A log climbing competition...insane how fast they get up and then back down!

Yes Ellison fell asleep during the log cutting competition with the loudest chainsaw's ever made!

Log rolling competition...

Back at the boat relaxing before dinner and watching the beautiful scenary from our balcony...Ellie was quite punchy and laughing it up.

Just hanging out and having fun on our last day at sea!

Some scenary as we floated towards Vancouver

Our last night at dinner and Ellie made an appearance just in time for a picture

Well we went on a trip to remember! Another BIG thanks Mom & Dad Murphy...

We hope we can do again...everyone should add this to their must do list in life.
Love,
Ellison, Katie, & Shad
