The first day for our little Ella has been quite exciting!
Her journey to birth began around noon on Thanksgiving Day and about 18 hours later she was born at 7:46 am weighing 8lbs 3 oz and measuring 20 inches long.

Ellie's first day was filled with vistors and well wishes from Grandma Shafer, Great Grandma Morrissey, Great Grandma Bandy, and the Atlanta Murphy's!
As well as many other calls and text messages from friends that couldn't be there in person but were there in heart.
Her timely birth allowed people to stop by that otherwise couldn't have made it...a trait of timeliness she must get from her Mom.

Ellie's first day was capped off by a 'little' celebration that Frank and Leslie took Dad to...where else but Quigley's!

Although Ellie and Mom couldn't make it...most of her 'Great Aunt's and Uncles' were in attendance. Not many missed the fun as you can see below...
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone that stopped by, called, and attended the celebration party. This day was truely a memorable event that we will cherish forever.

Congratulations, Shad and Katie! She looks georgous (just like all the Shafer's do!) Katie, I hope you are feeling good - get rest when ever you can! Shad, Matt says to be ready for a lot of hard work and sleepless nights! Let us know if you need anything!
